Blancmange - "Living on the Ceiling"
I love this band. One of the really good 80s bands. I just got their greatest hits and one of the versions of the songs is not the best version that is on their vinyl... and there are some other weird songs on there I don't care for... but pretty good...
I will have to rely on my old vinyl. I still keep some around cause the ones I have were never released to Cd.
One obscure 80s band: "any trouble" they were on the stiff record label.
As any recordphile knows, many of the bands on that label had troubles getting their stuff later on... as the label went out of business. They have since released stiff compilation CD.
Song: "second choice" and a few others. Album "any trouble".
Also I believe rockpile and dave edmunds were affiliated in some way with stiff record label.? Love Dave edmunds.

I remember Honeymoon Suite: New Girl Now, that is a great song and it sure does ROCK!
They were great! I even had the Agent Provocateur album they were on.
The other one from Lou Gramm was Midnite Blue.
I used to have a mixed tape of songs and believe it or not
Michael Bolton-Time,Love&Tenderness.
I have no idea how that got on there
I've totally forgotten all about Lou Gramm's solo hit "Midnight Blue", that was a good song, you sure don't hear Michael Bolton's "Time, Love & Tenderness" on the radio anymore, that was one of the couple songs by Michael Bolton that I actually liked cause it wasn't overly sappy and it was more upbeat, I could never stand Michael Bolton at all.
Not a Lou Gramm or Foreigner fan in the least, but I do believe that "Midnight Blue" is one helluva fabulous song.
I thought Foreigner was at their best on their first two albums (their S/T debut and Double Vision), they went downhill after that.
