My oldest has always been difficult in the personality department. Middle school is when it really ramped up.



My other one is super easy, really agreeable. At least I feel like I can reason with her and come to an understanding. Hopefully that helps in the tween/teen years. I definitely have a better bond with her. My oldest has a better bond with dad.

I think each stage of development comes with joys and challenges, and I mean that sincerely. Assuming parents and kids are normal and average. In other words, if you're a loving and responsible parent...you'll find joy at each stage, I think.
