There is that guy who lives on hackberry and nevada on the eastside. Says hes going to build and underground city under san antonio. Thats probably why they are going to knock his house down. because hes crazy.

If they knocked down all of the crazy peoples houses in San Antonio you would be able to see the Hill Counrty from the Toyota plant.

I've heard rumors of a cave on Nacogdoches/Cave Lane that goes all the way to downtown. Don't know if it's a cave or a tunnel or even if it's true.

Many people don't realize that there is a huge underground marina for the SA river that runs nearly from Market St to Durango (over 8 square city blocks) where all the boats dock at night and come in for maintenance. You would never know it existed if you only walked at street level; recently I was on a boat that came in to dock and was floored at the size of this unexpected underground sight!

Explored it. Actually straight out of a scrary movie me and two guys got seperated from the group. One of us had a flashlight. He got spooked and began to run a HUGe no no to do in a cave. I was last so the further he got the less i could see the more i tripped the more i got behind. My buddy robert was such a good guy he stayed behind instead of sticking with the first guy.
I also was aware of the massive drainage built by the army core.
Crazy guy is crazy b/c for a regular guy to dig would be very very hard b/c of the caliche in SA.
Hmmm maybe I should check the basement of the Alamo! : )

I've explored the drainage ditch tunnels on Austin Hwy, between Broadway & New Braunfels, early 70's. They were permanently cemented in and closed, I think In the 80's. Also been in the Tunnels around Olmos Dam., lat 70's. Also been in the Cave lane cave a long time ago, early 70's! Fun times!!!
