Since I had trouble with my CPAP machine - and didn't use it, I slept for 20 minutes occasionally in our wellness room on the couch. I got in trouble for it. So now when I need to rest for 15-20 minutes because of lack of sleep the night before - I "go home to get something" My drive to work is 12-14 minutes. I leave the parking lot and park down the road at a church and sleep in my car and then go back to the office.

I remember a story told to me by a postmaster at a small rural post office. There was a big blizzard coming overnight. The employee was considered essential personnel and would lose her job if she didn't show up and open the PO. She had a long commute, on winding mountain roads. So she planned ahead, brought a sleeping bag, food, etc, and spent the night in the post office. She was fired anyway. Apparently she wasn't allowed to be there in off hours, including overnight.
