Description: This sliver of a bistro on one of the busiest corners in the Freighthouse District gets positively jammed on the first Friday of every month, thanks to its proximity to the Crossroads Arts District. Well, that and the fact that owner Kathy Scaglia Green hires a DJ to pump out the tunes for patrons sitting outside with cocktails and wine. What’s on the menu board is pretty heart-thumping, too, such as Kathy’s salmon salad and big, fat sandwiches. Her pastas, such as a rigatoni with sausage and spicy red sauce, and pizzas are favored neighborhood noshes. There’s a brisk lunch business, with people dining in the upstairs loft, dotting the outdoor cafe tables, or grabbing a to-go box. And when you see that Twenty 20 is the caterer for an event, you know it’s going to be good.
