Observed mop sink at facility blocked and full of cluttered items. Health inspector discussed with operator in 2011 to clear mop sink for use in wet mopping facility. Do not use handsink to fill mop bucket. Do not use toilet or handsink to drain dirty mop water. A mop sink is a construction requirement and required piece of equipment for permitted facility.* This is a repeat request from 2011.

Store does not sell any damage food products. Handsink properly stocked with liquid soap and sanitary disposable towels. The violations observed on annual inspection today are repeat violations from 2011. A reinspection is required for compliance. Failure to comply may result in reinspection fees and possible suspension of health permit.

Notes:The following items must be corrected prior to permit approval:1) Install a mop sink in one of the two restrooms. 2) Replace missing base coving around perimeter of facility. 3) Replace all missing floor tiles in facility. Remove the patch of carpet in grocery area and replace with floor tiles so that floor is smooth; non-absorbent and easily cleanable. 4) Provide accurate thermometers in all cold holding reach in units.5) Provide liquid hand soap and single service sanitary towels at handsink in restroom.6) Caulk behind the handsink in the restroom and wall. Seal or paint all porous spots of wall in bathroom to be smooth and easily cleanable.Please call health inspector for reinspection at 328-2682.
