Ice scoop was found to be improperly stored (on a dirty surface). Ice scoops must be stored inside the ice unit with the handle up or outside the ice unit in a clean container. The operator made a correction at this time. Operator noted that the scoop will be stored in a clean plastic box in the future.

- [4] Facilities to maintain product temperature
Ambient temperature of reach in freezer at 32 f. Ensure freezers are maintained at 0 f or below. Per operator; a door had been left open. Inspector checked temperatures of product in all areas of freezers. Temperatures ranged from 20 f - 34 f with the exception of one small area on the top shelf. Chicken nuggets/patties temped at 45 f - 50 f. Operator voluntarily discarded the affected three packages. Freezer continued to go down in temperature while on site. Corrected.Continue to monitor freezer's temperature and watch to make sure doors remain closed.
