It was in the 70's today so we had to get out and check out Burgess Falls.

I should NOT have listened to the weather forecast for the hike to Upper Piney Falls....

Don....Burgess Falls is one of the prettiest falls around....

Upper and Lower Piney Falls, but the lower falls are a little tough to get to.

After several days of rain, the creeks are really boiling down the mountain....be careful, very slippery...

They are "frozen" in Frozen Head....or at least in hibernation now....

Falls Creek Falls State Park.. South on 111 from Cookeville.. Look for the State Park Signs approx. drive time 45min.
Main Falls is 235 feet high
