I was at Cummins Falls today and took a couple of pictures. While my pictures aren't nearly as pretty as TN Tin Man's, I think it's interesting to see what the falls look like this time of year. I was also the only person there, so it was very peaceful. A deer actually came out of the woods right in front of me while I was standing at the overlook, but by the time I got my camera out, he'd already jumped back into the woods and disappeared.
It's super easy to get to the falls. From Cookeville, take 12th Street (Hwy 290) west out of town and follow the signs. It's just a few miles outside of the city just inside Jackson County.

Thanks! I hope you can visit there, too. There are some beautiful areas just outside of Cookeville, notably the waterfalls (Burgess Falls and Cummins Falls).
