I bought a souvenir T-shirt last weekend, and another one about a month or so ago. They're my one clothing weakness, I probably buy a few a year.
Other than that my clothing purchases are pretty few and far between. My family has socks permanently pinned to the top of my Christmas list so those get replenished every year, other than that it's been at least a couple of years since I bought any clothing. I really need some jeans, but I've got several pair in the back of the closet that are in good shape but mysteriously shrank shortly after I started working at a sit-down job several years ago. Every time I give in and go out to buy a new pair I end up telling myself that I could wear those if I would cut out my afternoon snack and start hitting the bike every night and talking myself out of it. Unfortunately I never seem for follow through.
I only where the same set of cloths all year round... mix of jeans/pants/cargos with a variety of pique polos. They go on sale just before Winter... So that's when I shop... once a year. I throw out what has worn and buy that same amount new.
As for clothes around the house.. sweats, cotton shorts, and t-shirts.. I wear them until they are rags.. then use them as rags. I'm just about getting ready for a multi-pack of colored Fruit of the Loom Crews.. 5 for $16-ish if not on sale.
So I guess last end of fall I bought about a dozen polos.. they were on sale $9 per from JC Penny. That should last me a couple years at least. And I'm about to make a purchase of T-shirts next month.
I wasn't going to buy any clothes at all, since I'm WFH, but now I need more "comfy" clothes to wear at home. I just bought several t-shirt dresses and a pair of yoga pants online.
Once it gets cold, I might also buy a couple sweatshirts. Typically I would never wear sweatshirts to work, so barely own any, but for this coming winter, I presume I'll still be at home, so that might be my everyday wear.
Last week, I made my first (scratch that--second) clothing purchase of the year and treated myself to a new dress from WHBM (or rather, I was treated to a new dress courtesy of a portion of the birthday money my mother sends me each year. Thanks, Mom!). It's a classic shape, well-made, and can be layered with pieces that I already own, so it's likely to be a part of my spring-to-fall wardrobe for years to come.
At an eighty percent markdown plus a five percent member's discount plus no taxes paid on it plus free shipping, it was $37.99 well-spent.

Well I bought a few pairs of jeans at Costco for about 30 bucks. The first few months of covid I lost weight from not eating out and not working out. My old jeans were 36 and 38 inch waist and were baggy, so I bought some 34 in waist. I also bought some shoes for 30 from Costco too.
