Today I bought 3 more swimsuits, they keep falling off my butt as I keep losing weight. Same with jeans.

Since I am no longer working I would have to say that I have have not bought any clothes in at least a couple of years. In the event I get lucky enough to have a job just drop into my lap (yeah...it has happened, believe it or not).

Thanks to covid I have not bought any swim suits...(I gave them to my daughter because she is an avid kayaker) because I do not have access to an open pool (public or private). I suppose I should, in the unlikely event a pool becomes available.

I haven't boght new clothes in over three years..maybe 4.
I live near an outlet store, high end, that sells last season items for less than half off.
The clothes are made of good quality, sturdy cotton and I just can't wear them out.
Men's and ladies clothing, ex: cargo shorts originally $100, preppy type oxford shirts,
polo shirts etc.. The money my husband and I don't spend has enabled us to buy
new livingroom furniture and remodel a bathroom while still managing to look crisp..

I had to buy new clothes because I gained 15 pounds over 2 years, slowly losing it now...very slowly.
It's hard to buy clothes and admit I'm too fat to fit into the ones I have, that's why elastic waists were invented but I have always shunned those clothes. My husband would like me to buy new clothes, always compliments me when I dress up a little. I like old jeans and a tee.

Side note: a close relative quit her career in clothing design/manufacturing in December, before Covid, because she was seeing declining sales and dimmer future. This was her college major and she was hired on graduation by a big brand about 8 years ago. She flew around the world, to factories in Asia, to runway shows in Italy, Paris, London. She is getting degree in healthcare where she will earn the same (more in coming years) but able to be home with family more.
