Me as well. I have a small hydroponic setup in my basement. For the past year or so, I've been growing herbs; basil, oregano, rosemarry. I decided this past weekend to remove them and start over. This weekend I'm planting some flowers. Got 25 packs of variety for about $10.

I stream music daily from an old smartphone that has an excellent DAC (one of the best of its time) and a replaceable battery. Its battery ballooned. New battery was only $10. Small price to pay for enjoying this audio setup.

I have an old all metal Burgess Radar-Lite sealed beam lantern. The kind that used to bolt onto top of one of those huge eight cell 6V batteries. Well the batteries are discontinued, least the alkaline ones and remaining Chinese carbon zinc not worth bothering with. So built a battery box to mount it to and run it off four D-cell alkaline. Only the switch is fubar, so bought a new switch, its some fancy flush mounted lighted switch though I didnt connect the light, and mounted it on end of the battery box. Bypassed the original switch. Makes life lot easier. Oh and while doing this, the bulb decided to go to light bulb heaven, no didnt drop it or anything, just its time as its decades old. Luckily had a spare. But went looking. Of course the GE 4546 sealed beams for these are now also discontinued and remaining few seem to be made of diamonds and gold. LOL I was curious and yea, sealed beam car headlights (for antiques) also becoming expensive and hard to find. The industry has just moved on from sealed beam lights. Too bad it really was state of the art back in the day and far better than usual consumer flashlights.

Anyway the new switch is small thing but I like the results. Some guy on ebay is selling NOS GE 4512 bulbs. They are same spec as the 4546 bulbs except they have the fluting on lens like car headlights had. Supposed to been for some bicycle headlight. No idea how they would be in hand held lantern. But at $10 might find out.

A $15 cover for my office type chair which used to be my son's gaming chair. It's seriously comfortable, but looked pretty cruddy no matter how many times I vacuumed and cleaned it.

I went to Walmart and started scanning. I found a bunch of unmarked clearance. I bought my a budget planner for next year for $2.50 originally $9. Bought some pens originally $12, they were on sale for $3. And I finally bought me a different airpods case which was just $1. It's a cute little bear now and I LOVE it.

I paid $5 for my marriage license, and our marriage was free before a justice of the peace.

We have been happily married to one another and to this day are still in love as we were on our wedding day. Best $5 I ever spent.

I just bought at Walmart a Hyper Tough cordless-jigsaw at half-price, $25. I got the jigsaw, battery charger, and one 2-ampere-hour battery.

I mainly bought it because I needed another battery and charger.......just the battery retails
for about $30.

This thing: https://www.michaels.com/12pk-6-cup-...SABEgK2NPD_BwE.

I intentionally fall asleep most nights in my recliner because of GERD. When I go to bed I carry a phone, glass of water, and a few over-the-counter things. That used to be at least two trips. I also move my fuzzy fleece throw so it might be three. It's now one.
