Thank you everybody for signing up the petition and your support. Let's get to 100 signatures this weekend:

https://www.change.org/p/move-sky-co...ce-out-of-kvgt

West of KVGT is being hammered by growing number of sports clubs and fight schools. They are sending Sky Combat (and other flight schools who start as early as 6am) on top of Sun City, Lone Mountain and NW on a regular basis now (they only fly west of KVGT and are not being rerouted towards N, NE or SE of the airport). 99% of the traffic is being sent toward west of KVGT and everyday new planes are being added to the list of offenders. Sky Combat has been overflying Sun City non-stop this week. Tower sends them this way.

Call Sky Combat Ace (888) 494-5850 and let them know how you feel about their loud E300s.

In the meantime, let's keep the pressure on FAA district office, the airport and other local government officials. Sun City Summerlin is getting hammered at least 14 times a day, just by Sky Combat Ace obnoxiously loud E300s, so are thousands and thousands of residents west of KVGT, on a daily basis now. Most days we get a lot of flight schools over Sun City too, starting as early as 6 am and as late as 12 midnight. They are not being rerouted towards north, NE or SE of the airport to lighten up the traffic around this area,

Unfortunately Sky Combat Ace will have another crash, this time on top of densely populated residential Summerlin, it’s just a matter of time. With the number of flights they have on a daily basis, their frequent scheduling (as early as 9 am and as late as 6 pm) and overflying over 10K homes all day, every day, this time they will wipe out a few homes all together, as they like to do their little dangerous maneuvers over densely populated residential neighborhoods. FAA district office knows all about their murky history and previous fatal crashes but still gives them the green light to keep terrorizing the American citizens who are paying expensive mortgages, utilities, property tax, etc, etc. They could easily be moved to Jean airport, it’s a sports aviation center designed for this kind of a noise pollution.

This is the sound of regulatory inaction from all agencies and individuals responsible for regulating this kind of traffic. We need to keep the pressure on.

Move Sky combat Ace and flight schools (who overfly residential areas and loop) to Jean Airport.

The National Transportation Safety Board has been calling for stricter oversight of Sky Combat Ace and other touring businesses after several deadly crashes in recent years. Sky Combat Ace is operating under rules for "passenger-carrying operations", which fall under much less restrictive regulations than airlines do. This has allowed Sky Combat Ace to exploit loopholes in FAA regulations in order to avoid stricter oversight. Sky Combat Ace advertising itself as an “adrenaline rush package” and other thrill-seeking rides, DOES NOT sound like a flight school. “This is one of the most egregious examples of exploiting a loophole, in my opinion,” board member Jennifer Homendy said After Sky Combat California crash.

Thanks for bringing this important issue out in the open. It has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE with the ever getting worse, flying over our heads - issue. Sky Combat Ace is fly low over our heads & is driving many of the people in our neighborhood crazy. We will be writing and calling our local representatives and hope that this nightmare comes to an end soon.

After living in Las Vegas, I have concluded the city, the FAA and airport have little interest in mitigating aircraft noise and I also strongly believe the City of Henderson has a lot of power (influential lobbyists and politicians), that’s how years ago the flight path at Harry Reid was changed to go to west of the airport, instead of east. The residential areas west of airports are getting hammered on a daily basis. They have significantly increased noise pollution for all the residential neighborhoods in Vegas (west & NW of airports - whether it's Harry Reid Airport or KVGT). In regards to Sky Combat Ace, they’ve had recent deadly crashes and are exploiting the FAA’s loopholes to avoid stricter safety oversight. The FAA and the City or other local authorities don’t care much about excessive noise. But one would have thought that they would care about safety before putting Sky Combat Ace on top of thousands of homes west of KVGT. Whether it’s aerial combat simulation, skydiving, or stunt flying, things go wrong and people will GET HURT AND DIE It is irresponsible of the FAA and local authorities to continue to subject folks west of KVGT to such a high risk of harm. The authorities need to move SCA to outskirt of the City.

Thank you for your help. I will note that the City of Henderson has the worst impacts from air traffic in the valley due to the arrival patterns for Harry Reid both from the SW and E. In addition Henderson Executive is seeing a dramatic increase in air traffic.

Thanks for the feedback. I will also note that plane noise is a widespread issue throughout the valley, considering that Las Vegas is the 9th busiest airport in US and KVGT is the second busiest airport in the state, proffering complex airspace adjacent to both Harry Reid and Nellis Air Force Base.

The airspace in and out of North Las Vegas is condensed, and features many pilots learning to fly. “KVGT is a very unforgiving airport. Flying is unforgiving to begin with. You can’t just have a fender bender and pull over and knock the dents out as was demonstrated in the recent crash. Mistakes in the flying world can be and usually are CATASTROPHIC, and there are many, many ways for pilots to make mistakes at North Las Vegas Airportaccording to retired Army Safety Specialist Will Bradley.

The other issue is that KVGT is located in center of the town now and between 270 flights daily coming out of KVGT, thousands of residential homes west of KVGT are in direct flight path of take off/landing. Sky Combat Ace single props are also adding to built up of the traffic west of KVGT and they are flying low over homes and their group tours are super loud and annoying.

In regards to Harry Reid, you CANNOT have an international airport in downtown rerouting the traffic to west of the airport, spewing noise to all other residential neighborhoods. The FAA, the City, the Airport and paid specialists could not do worse of a job.The local authorities and the City should have thought about this problem ahead of time before building an entire City around major airports. San Fransisco prevented this overflight issue and noise issue by building the SFO adjacent to the Bay Area so the runways are around the Bay (for taking off/landing), insulating residential homes from airplane noise.

At least the local authorities and the FAA can move Sky Combat Ace to outskirt of the City so they don't end up terrorizing thousands of residents west of KVGT on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the FAA, the City and the airport have FAILED to implement good policies for noise mitigation. Sadly the conclusion is that the FAA and the City don't care about noise pollution or safety and are unable to represent the interest of residents and the American people as a whole.

NTSB's Factual Report on Sky Combat Ace fatal accident in Henderson, NV. Witnesses told NTSB they saw SCA's loud E300s performing "aerobatic-like" maneuvers before crashing. The report had TWO MAJOR CONCERNING FINDINGS:

1. First and foremost, the report finds the pilot had detectable levels of THC (marijuana) in his blood and tissue. The fact that Sky Combat Ace E300 pilot had any amount of an illegal substance (marijuana did not become legal in Nevada until several months after the accident) is deeply disturbing.

2. Secondly, the report calls into question if the flight operation is operated legally by CFR 14.91 and .61 (Instructional Flights), and suggests they should legally be required to hold a part 119 air carrier / commercial operator certificate and operate under the stricter 121 or 135 rules.

A few local news channels are interested to do a story on SCA. MS Candese Charles from 8newsnow wants to talk to a few residents. Here is her phone number, MS Candese Charles: (702) 201-7666, I encourage all residents fed up with SCA loud E300s to call MS. Candese. Thank you

SCA 5-6 of loud E300s have been hammering Sun City or a half mile north of it (Lone Mountain) the whole day.

I live in the highest point in SCS right under the flight path and the truth is there are relatively few planes and any plane noise is infrequent and not unwelcome at all. I suggest complainers take flight lessons instead of sitting in your house all day

When I asked on here several years ago about living up north people on here told me to expect airplane noise all the time so I don't really think about it. I enjoy the air shows and hope nothing serious happens.

Looks like we're not the only ones. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzFA...ewsNOWLasVegas
