I appreciate you taking the time to post those for me homesinseattle. Unfortunately, half of those spots I've been to and their pizza is the style I mentioned that I didn't like - Neapolitan. The other half, I looked up their websites and yelps to see the pics of the pizza - same style (Kylie's is closed but they did deep dish, the exact opposite of what I like). Haha, it's okay. At least I know now, it's really just a regional thing and they don't really "do" thin crust pizza out here. I'm sure I'll survive just fine. Not like I need it anyway. Trying to watch my girlish figure.

Um, you really need to check out Via Tribunali if you're interested in thin-crust pizza in Seattle.

Also, Cornuto in Phinney Ridge is the same outfit as Via Tribunali.

But he said he doesn't like Neapolitan Pizza, and Via Tribunali is Neapolitan. I'm not a huge fan of the style either. I like thin crust, but Neapolitan is too thin. Crustwise, Smoking Monkey in Renton is a tiny bit thicker than Neapolitan style...very good.

I have to admit I missed that, probably because I can't imagine anyone not liking that style.

Via Tribulani is great. Their pizzas are very authentic in style (and thin crusted). I've eaten a lot of pizzas in Naples

Went there again on Saturday for happy hour with Ms BATCAT. A excellent, small margherita pizza for each of us plus a half-carafe of decent red wine, all for $25. Good times.

Another great local food find just yesterday. 8532 Greenwood Ave N. La Conasupo Market. Walking down this strip of Greenwoodin North Seattle, the stores aren't that attractive. This place looks like a slightly run down Mexican grocery store. Trust me, go in to the back, past the chili peppers, pinatas, veggies and coolers. I was with my son, we found about 15 tables, filled with Mexican people. They looked up at us with surprise and big smiles. I really don't think very many gringos at all come in here. We sat down and had the most excellent quesadillas, not what you think of though. These were giant, made of corn, with just a little cheese and stuffed full of spicy meat and sauce. Delicious. Couple that with a cold horchata or tamarind soda, close your eyes and it seems like you have been transported to Mexico. The best NY style pizza I've found is Giannoni's in West Seattle. Very thin, slightly greasy, the kind of pizza you can fold to eat with your hands, delicious. The crust can be crispy and slightly burned in spots, but that's because it's so thin -- and to me, it adds to the flavor. Try it!
