    Observed walk in fridge being used to store milk and eggs but thermometer was buried between six packs of beer in front of unit. Ensure thermometer is visible at all times. This item corrected on site and thermomter moved to area near milk and eggs during inspection. Thermomter read 38F at end of inspection.

    Observed numerous door gaskets to dairy fridge and frozen food freezer broken. Also observed door gasket to walk in coming away from door near handle. Replace all broken gaskets and ensure all others seal tightly against door so all areas are smooth and easily cleanable.

    Observed tongs being utilized for self service donut area. Tongs are not able to be sanitized so facility shall switch to utilizing single service tissue paper for this purpose.
  • [1] Walls; ceilings: attached equipment constructed; good repair; clean surfaces; dustless cleaning methods
    Observed sections of cove base in restroom and hallway outside of restroom leading to back storage room coming away from wall. Reattach these sections to wall with glue and remove all duct tape. Observed section of wall in back storage room where drywall is missing and insulation is exposed. Install drywall in this area to ensure all areas are smooth and easily cleanable.

Helados ice cream freezer @ -10F. Nestle freezer @ 0F. Ice machine clean. Good scooop storage.

Consumer ice bagged on property must have a label; stamp or handwritten Facility Name; Address; and Phone Number.Remove ice from the sales floor and discontinue selling ice until the above information is located on the bag.

    **Repeat violation. Ice scoop was observed stored on the ice machine. Operator obtained a bucket to store the scoop; but states that someone moved it.Ensure that all staff are properly educated on the proper storage of the ice scoop to prevent cross-contamination.

    Ice scoop located on top of ice machine. Ensure that the ice scoop is placed in a separate food-grade container that allows it to be cleaned and sanitized or place it in ice with the handle up.Ice machine observed to have a layer of pink mildew/mold on the deflector plate. Empty the machine of ice; clean and sanitize the machine walls and plate and ensure that the machine is maintained with a regular cleaning and sanitation schedule.
