I wouldn't go to a muslim country if I was paid to go.
I spent many summers (and then lived in Thailand for almost 2 years). Loved it. Always felt safe. Except when I visited the southern 3 provinces that are predominantly Muslim. Totally different vibe.
Pakistan is better than many SA countries and other countries in its league. Its employment rate is 4.4 percent one of the lowest in the world compared to Brazil's 12%. Don't compare it to America and Canada or Europe and you will see that Pakistan is not as bad as it seems.
edited to say safety wise pakistan had 3000 murders last year while brazil while same population had almost 60,000 some favelas in Brazil even the police can't get to and are complete slums controlled by druglords, something that doesn't occur in Pakistan
Name me even one country in Asia that has what Pakistan has to offer:
- highest paved international road – The Karakoram Highway (KKH)
- one of the world's earliest and largest civilizations flourished within Pak.
- 2nd largest mountain in the whole world (K-2)
- largest deep sea port in the world (Gwadar)
- 3rd most English speakers in the world
- almost every landscape [think California x2] (from Mountains to Deserts to Valleys to Beaches to Plains to Canyons to Rolling Hills)
- 4th largest irrigation system in the world.
- 2nd most beautiful capital city in the world.
- 5th most populous city in the whole world.
- over 60 languages spoken within the country.
- 5th most populous country in the whole world.

This is a misleading statement. First one must understand, Pakistan is one of the most populous countries in the world (5th most populated). It is not a small country.
I do. Once lived here in the States and had to return home. Hates it!
