Anyone interested in doing an online nascar fantasy challenge? PM me if interested.

How it works.

1- PICK 5 Drivers for your TOP 5 (designating WINNER, 2ND, 3RD, 4TH & 5TH) and let those picks stay SAME or MAKE CHANGES ANYTIME for entire season.
OR

2- Making WEEKLY RACE picks for that Week Race. BOTH Ways have their advantages.

RACE POINTs will be awarded on WINNER 6 pts, 2nd 5pts, 3rd 4pts, 4th 3pts, 5th 2 pts AND 1 point IF pick is in TOP 5 regardless of position.

Every now& then BONUS points are given Depending on Race.

Last year's winner had 146 points. Additional teams make it more exciting. Currently have about 14 teams.

This race has received a lot of criticism but I'm actually looking forward to see how it plays out. I will for sure be watching.

If you're a fan of bump-and-run and consider that racing.. I suspect you'll love it.

Admittedly, there's allure to that.. But I prefer to see the better driver/better car make the difference. Not someone being dumped.

That's the problem. Most likely, the racing won't be good. So, if new eyes are brought in.. They won't really see what the sport is like. I was fine with it running on the Road Course. That.. Makes some sense. They're often competitive and.. Look at last year. Leaders took themselves out on the final turn and 3rd place won.

This is a gimmick. Not unlike the Bristol dirt race. And, like that.. I suspect it will not pay off well.
Nor do I think the entertainment venue will help. I don't see hardcore fans enjoying the rap and hip-hop genre. It seems NASCAR is doing everything it can to get rid of anything traditional.

The pre race stuff is cringe worthy. Hopefully the race is better.

This race at the Coliseum is fantastic. Much better racing than driving a plate track and just hoping you're at the front in the shuffle.

A whole lot of buildup for a race with a really boring finish.

At least it wasn't a run-away with no one even close to contending for the win. But with all the hype about this "Next Generation" car, I was hoping there was going to be more lead changes among more drivers.

Overall I enjoyed the race. Would have been more dramatic had KB been able to get side by side with the 22 for the checkers.

I was impressed with how much beating and banging the NextGen carbon fiber body was able to take. Some work needs to be done on the drive train possibly, or maybe those guys were shifting too much?

Joey looks to be the king of winning inaugural races now. Plus the first win in the NextGen.

I think Daytona will be a good race and the 2022 season could be even better than 2021!
