Your words "Note that in yesterdays incident, nobody was hurt". You're normalizing a criminal opening fire in a mall, yet you're against anybody owning a firearm or carrying one.

You can't take both stances, so which is it?

A) Teen fires illegally obtained firearm in the largest shopping mall in ABQ....he didn't hit anyone and I'm OK with that.

B) People that have stringent background checks and ongoing training should never be able to carry a firearm concealed even though they are licensed by the state.

I'll never stop calling out your hypocrisy and your mental illness.
Look at more liberal countries like Canada and most of Europe, which you would no doubt call "socialist". They have FAR less gun violence than we do in the USA, where it's an epidemic. Figure it out, comrade.

The shooter in Lewiston, Maine (where I used to live by the way) was not only licensed, but a trainer himself. Killed 18 people! All because people like you oppose all forms of gun control.

Maybe you should choose a more conservative place in NM to live. Like Farmington -- oops, they had a mass shooting this year. Or Red River -- oops, they had a mass shooting this year too. How about Hobbs, Clovis, or Alamogordo? I'm sure you'd be much happier there. You like to talk the talk, but never walk.

Keep on yapping.

I think it's the amount of people who panhandling on freeway entrance ramps and street lights that are making it harder for me as a tourist to want to come back. When I see that I feel like I am back in Seattle where we have more of that maybe a lot more and tons of crime as well. I think next trip down I will just go to Taos or resort place in NM.

Oh the irony of being called comrade by an avowed socialist who abhors the Constitution. You do realize the Maine shooter was known by law enforcement to be a danger to society yet law enforcement dropped the ball yet again? People like him should not own guns which is a common theme among almost all mass shooters. How many times do you have to hear "was previously known by the FBI"? The government are letting these animals carry out there sinister plans so they can run on more gun control.

We've had two posters come here and state that Albuquerque is much worse than it was in the past when they visited, something most residents agree with. Why don't you address their concerns? Are you claiming that Albuquerque is safer now? On a better trajectory?

The reason you won't answer is because you know it's worse but can't admit it because you're mentally ill and have cognitive dissonance.

Since you're so scared of guns maybe you should take your own advice and move to one of these socialist countries that you clamor for, you wouldn't be missed.

Ha Ha. You know how that worked for the Florida Man, it didn't because he didn't mean it and how can you?

Right! That why he killed 18 people, it was because some are against owning guns. No! It was because he was mentally ill. Who in their right mind would do what he did? If he said that is why he did it, it is still insanity that drove him to it.

So TWO whole anonymous posters are your trusted sources for determining whether Albuquerque is "much worse than it was in the past." I'm not impressed. And they mentioned locked bathrooms and panhandling, not crime. Provide actual data and be specific as to what you're talking about or you just sound like a hysterical old lady ranting.

I know several people who visited recently. One was an old friend from Washington DC who flew in for a cousin's wedding and met several other family members here from around the country, they spent a couple of extra days here, saw different parts of the city, had nothing but positive things to say. They probably did see panhandlers on some of the medians, just like you do in every city. Do you travel much?

We had over 800,000 visitors for Balloon Fiesta this October, a record number. Do you recall any incidents?

I'm not "scared of guns", I had a 10-week training course when I was 18.

Didn't you just move out of SE ABQ? Apparently the residents of Albuquerque don't share your sentiments because you're mentally ill.
